The operation of a checkweigher is relatively simple. As products pass through the machine on the conveyor belt, the checkweigher detects their weight using sensitive load cells. If a product's weight falls below or exceeds the safe range, the checkweigher rejects it, either by diverting it to an alternate conveyor or stopping the production line until the issue can be addressed.
